How it all started

Canary’s Red Foundation, NFP began with a simple but powerful idea: to support children with chronic illnesses and disabilities, particularly those from underserved communities. The organization was founded to create a place where resources, advocacy, and community support can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

The foundation is named in honor of the founder’s grandmother, Canary, whose open heart and open arms toward people with special needs inspired this mission. Her example became the foundation for the founder’s lifelong passion for advocacy and care. From the first program to today, Canary’s Red Foundation, NFP remains dedicated to empowering children, supporting families, and creating opportunities where they are most needed.
